Mrs. Mafy’s “300-in-100”
Mrs. Mafy often jokes that she packs 300 hours of training in the 100 hours required by the state of Massachusetts. We go above and beyond in training our students. Each hour at our school is essential and organized to prepare you not only to obtain your Manicurist/Nail Technician license, but also for your nail career.

BEGINNER- AND PRO-FRIENDLY – We train students with no experience, little experience, or tons of experience, from the basics to the advanced. If you think you know all there is to know about nails, think again! Every student at Mafy’s Nails Academy will learn new things that will aid their nail tech careers.
WE TEACH ACRYLIC NAILS, GELS, 3D FLOWERS, RHINESTONES AND MORE – Don’t worry about complicated YouTube videos or expensive seminars! Learn the most in-demand techniques that will make you money as a nail technician here at Mafy’s Nails Academy.
- WE PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS AND KITS – On the first day of class, our students receive a manicure kit, pedicure kit, acrylics kit, nail art kit and more, assembled by us at the academy with high-quality brands including Tammy Taylor, OPI, Staleks and more. The kits are for the course, your exam, and are also yours to keep.
WE DON’T CUT CORNERS – We offer and require fully in-person training in both the theoretical and practical, ensuring you understand what we teach you and how to apply that knowledge.
HANDS-ON TRAINING IN HOSPITAL-GRADE CLEANING AND DISINFECTION – Cleaning and disinfection is key to mastering your exam and excelling in your career as a nail technician. With the COVID-19 crisis, it has become more critical and relevant than ever. Learn it hands-on and in-depth at our school.
- SPA PEDICURE TRAINING – Feet haters beware! A nail technician knows how to handle both hands and feet. We provide professional spa pedicure training not only to comply with state regulations but also to prepare our students to face all sorts of clients as nail technicians.
